Belmont Abbey is glad to announce that Will Esser has been selected to receive the NC Bar Association’s William Thorp Pro Bono Attorney Award for 2017. The Thorp award is presented to an attorney whose voluntary pro bono service contributions have resulted in increased access to legal services on the part of low-income people.
Esser was nominated by Ted Fillette, LANC-Charlotte, who shared about the great work that has done in conjunction with LANC and LSSP.
The William Thorp Pro Bono Attorney Award will be presented during the President’s Luncheon of the NC Bar Association’s Annual Meeting, which will take place this year on Friday, June 23rd.
