The Centre for Global Commerce offers the following seminars required for an International Trade Specialist Certificate
Though advanced, this program is suitable for individuals new to international business, or professionals and entrepreneurs currently involved in international business or trade who would benefit from in-depth exposure. Those from service industries, such as banks and forwarders supporting international companies, will find the series useful in better understanding the needs of their clients, and the legal implications of their services.
This series of seminars is also useful preparation for anyone intending to sit for the national Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) examination.
Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) is a new professional designation which identifies competence in international business for practitioners through a national exam. For more information go to www.nasbitecgbp.org . Candidates receiving the NASBITE CGBP designation may use the credential logo and word-mark on résumés and business cards identifying them to employees and the public as individuals proficient in global commerce. To receive the NASBITE CGBP designation, a candidate must pass the CGBP exam and have completed either two years of college-level study, or two year's work experience in global commerce. The CGBP exam is a multiple-choice exam and will be offered in major U.S. cities at various times during the year. For exam times, go to www.nasbitecgbp.org.
