Alpha Sigma Pi was founded at Belmont Abbey College in the spring of 1988. It is a social/ service sorority that is also involved in many events campus wide. Alpha Sigma Pi holds two parties a year, the Winter Formal in December and the Seventies Party in the spring. The sisters also co-sponsor two blood drives a year with the help of the American Red Cross along with participating in such events as the Christmas Adopt-A-Child. Alpha Sigma Pi is one of two sororities on campus that maintains a close relationship with their brothers the Sigma Alphas. Above all else, Alpha Sigma Pi cherishes a strong tradition and an even stronger sisterhood that has contributed to keeping them active at Belmont Abbey for over a decade. We are always eager to find young women to share in the memories, service and sisterhood that Alpha Sigma Pi has to offer.
