Sign-ups for each sport will be held everyday during lunch in the cafeteria two-weeks prior to the season starting. Additional roster sheets will be e-mailed out and available in the Form Tower on the 1st floor of the Student Commons. Any team roster turned in after the deadline will not be accepted.
All students CURRENTLY enrolled at Belmont Abbey College have the opportunity to participate in the Intramural Program. A valid BAC student I.D. must be presented upon request. Faculty and staff may also participate and upon request, a valid faculty/staff I.D. must be presented.
The team captain must submit the team roster to the Intramural Director before the sign-up deadline. The captain must turn in their box number, phone number, e-mail address, and a list of the team members. Once a player has played with one team or in a game they are ineligible to be traded to another team. Players can not be added to any team after the final regular season game. After the final regular season game the rosters have to be completed, no changes can be made. If a player plays who is not on the roster plays then the game is a forfeit for the violating team.
The possibility of injury exists in all sports. The Office of Student Activities assumes no responsibility for injuries. All participants acknowledge the assumption of risk by voluntary participation in the Intramural Sports Activity. All participants in the Intramural activities must sign the Assumption of Risk Statement before they participate in any intramural sports activity. It is strongly advised, but not required that participants carry medical insurance.
