Belmont Abbey College & March for Life 2015
When: January 22, 2015
Where: Washington D.C.
Who: Belmont Abbey Community
Led by Patrick Ford, we chartered buses up to Washington D.C. the afternoon of January 21. The journey was long but well worth it. We walked the March with nearly 500,000 other pro-life supporters. We prayed in front of the Supreme Court and we made our voices heard.
See this short retrospective on our trip:
“This ties right back to our Benedictine tradition of welcoming everyone ‘in Persona Christi.’ These babies are created in the image and likeness of God. We have a duty to love them. The march is one way of showing we be
lieve there is something wrong that needs to change.” – President Bill Thierfelder
Thanks to our Donors
Through generous donations made to Belmont Abbey College we’ve been able to raise thousands of dollars to bring this opportunity to our students at a very reasonable cost of only $15 per student. This includes the bus, hotel, and some food during the day of the march. Thanks to our donors for making this possible.
