Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the current position of Director of Development Services for College Relations.
The Director of Development Services is a member of the College Relations Team and reports to the Associate Vice President for College Relations. The Director performs gift processing, data management, and prospect research functions for the College Relations Department. The Director will be the liaison to the Business Office for accurate gift reporting and reconciliation. The Director performs the prospect management/research function which includes prospect identification/research and qualification, developing new methods of communicating, touching and involving our alumni and other supporters in order to increase interest, support and affinity for the Belmont Abbey College. The Director will also assist with other alumni, fundraising and event initiatives within the department.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with three or more years of experience in development related technology and development support services. In depth knowledge of gift processing, proficiently in Raiser’s Edge database software, WealthEngine, and online giving tools is preferred. Prospect research experience is desirable. Also, experience with the Google suite and Microsoft Office suite are required. In addition, a background in fundraising and the non-profit/educational sectors would be desirable.
