Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the current position of Director of Enrollment Marketing (DEM).
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this full-time, twelve-month position plays an essential role in supporting the marketing needs of the college’s admission and enrollment efforts. The DEM assists Vice Provost of Enrollment and Admissions team in setting and refining marketing and communication plans to boost the College’s visibility, engage prospective students, and support enrollment goals. The DEM works collaboratively with the undergraduate, graduate, undergraduate online admissions teams as well as vendors, the communications directors, central marketing team, graduate program directors and other academic partners. The DEM supports the development, implementation and execution of marketing and communication plans for the Undergraduate and Graduate admissions. This position is responsible for implementing CRM strategies, creating and executing an electronic communications plan for each admissions cycle, editing and assisting in the production of admissions marketing materials and ensuring that both internal and external web and publication content related to undergraduate, graduate and international afdmissions is up-to-date and relevant for prospective students and families. Position reports to the Vice Provost of Enrollment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree with a preferred minimum of 3 years of experience working in admissions or marketing offices at a college campus – master’s degree preferred. Knowledge and proficiency with modern marketing strategies and techniques both broadly and in admissions; as well as, knowledge of territory/market development; and an appreciation for data analysis and interpretation. Must be comfortable with writing recruitment email communications as well as formal professional communications. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Must have the ability to make decisions on sensitive, confidential issues; plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects within set guidelines and procedures; and strong written skills.
