With more than 150,000 print books, 400,000 eBooks, 100 databases, and other multimedia collections, The Abbot Vincent Taylor Library engages students with tools for academic success. The library also includes the Benedictine Room, which houses a monastic collection, and the Carter Center lab, where reference librarians provide instruction on research skills and information literacy.
*Exceptions to regular library hours will be posted on the entrance to the main library in advance. Please note that the library is closed during fall break weekend, Thanksgiving break, Christmas week, New Year’s Day, the weekends before and after spring break, Easter break (Thursday through Sunday), and Memorial Day.
The Abbot Vincent Taylor Library is committed to the preservation and conservation of more than 23,000 printed books and manuscripts that make up Special Collections, including the North Carolina Collection, Chesterton-Belloc Collection, and other rare books.
