DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an evening of conversation about Catholic teaching on the death penalty. Co-sponsored by our friends at Catholic Mobilizing Network\, this special\, catered event will take place on Wednesday\, September 16\, 2026\, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Belmont House on Capitol Hill\, 207 3rd Street SE\, Washington\, DC. \nThe particulars surrounding this issue can certainly be difficult. But our Catholic faith gives us a rich\, 2\,000-year inheritance—Scripture and Tradition\, sacramental life\, scholarship\, and practice—to help us reflect God’s justice and mercy. We honor that inheritance by engaging with it on issue after issue\, building up the Body of Christ act by act\, discussion by discussion.
