Meet Amy Hargett

OF NOTE:
Is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with over twenty-five years’ experience in private industry, public accounting, auditing, government and manufacturing sectors. Holds a M.A. in Accountancy with an emphasis in tax.

KNOWN FOR:
Presenting accounting in a way that gives students a love for the subject. Particularly enjoys teaching Principles of Accounting because it introduces students to accounting principles and gives her an opportunity to persuade them to switch their major to Accounting.

WHEN NOT IN THE CLASSROOM, CAN OFTEN BE FOUND:
Teaching evening classes for the Adult Degree Program, working a separate full time job and driving her son to his baseball games.
