Welcome Home
Belmont Abbey Alumni!

We are excited to welcome you back home at last for Homecoming 2021!

As you return to campus in person, we have several events and college updates to share with you as we come together again to support our community, deepen our traditions, and honor all those who have come before us.

This Homecoming will be especially meaningful as we cheer on our Crusaders, celebrate the milestones of our 50 year anniversary classes (1970 and 1971), break ground on a new multi-purpose sports center, and honor the memory of Coach Mike Reidy.

Despite the pandemic, the College has prospered in so many ways over the last year. We are excited to tell you that we welcomed the largest incoming class in the long and storied history of Belmont Abbey College, announced a partnership with CaroMont Health to build a new hospital at the Abbey, and introduced new Masters level degrees and academic programs. So, it is safe to say this year’s Homecoming theme, “Home at Last,” perfectly reflects what we are all feeling after this past year, most especially our strong desire to be together again. It is good to be home at the Abbey with our Crusader family at last.

We hope you have a safe and enjoyable Homecoming weekend as you renew old friendships and forge new ones! Go Crusaders!

God Bless,

President Bill Thierfelder
