COVID-19 Protocol & Precautions

Belmont Abbey College is doing everything in its power to take the proper precautions to keep students and visitors safe while also continuing forward with in-person events.

We ask that if you are not feeling well please stay home. If you have further questions about COVID-19 protocols and the college’s stance, please visit belmontabbeycollege.edu/coronavirus/.

RSVP/Ticket Information

We do ask that you kindly RSVP or purchase event tickets prior to Homecoming weekend. Due to COVID-19, we will be limited in availability to sell tickets at the door.

Events requiring a ticket/RSVP: All of Homecoming, Farewell Brunch (included in Homecoming ticket or pay at the door $12)

Refunds: If an event is canceled due to COVID-19 or capacity limits, refunds will be issued. All other refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis.

Homecoming Check-In

The Hospitality Center opens at 8 AM on Friday, September 30th at the Lowry Alumni House. The Hospitality Center will be open on Saturday as well for those checking in later in the weekend. This is a time and place to greet alumni and friends while picking up name tags, information needed for the weekend, and scheduling a time to tour the campus. There will be complimentary snacks and refreshments.

Homecoming 2022 Gear

Homecoming gear is included in a premium ticket for Homecoming. You may pick up your order at the Lowry Alumni House Hospitality Center when you arrive.

Homecoming gear will be available for purchase that weekend.

If you would like an order mailed to you we may do so for an additional shipping cost - please contact College Relations at collegerelations@bac.edu to make arrangements.

Returns are non-refundable but can be exchanged on a case-by-case basis with consideration given to COVID-19 protocol and inventory availability.

Classes to be honored during Homecoming 2022

We are honoring the 50th Anniversary of the Class of 1972. They will be celebrated with a formal dinner in the Haid Ballroom.

Tours

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at new buildings and updates on campus by taking a tour provided by official Belmont Abbey College Tour Guides. Each tour is about 1 hour long.

Due to limited availability, if a golf cart is required, ½ hour notice prior to the tour time is required. Please contact Ally Daniels at alexandriadaniels@bac.edu for arrangements.

Alumni Field Events

Food will be available for purchase through Chick-fil-A, Kona Ice, and additional vendors who will be on site.

There will be alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Outside alcohol is NOT permitted. Alcohol is NOT permitted outside of the gated area (Orange Fencing).

You must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages. IDs will be checked before sale is permitted.

Is there a Hall of Fame or Wall of Fame Award Ceremony happening this year?

Due to Covid-19, we are postponing the award ceremony at Homecoming 2022. The college will be honoring the awardees for the Wall of Fame on January 5, 2023 and the awardees for the Hall of fame on April 15, 2023.

Will there be a Zoom or Live Streaming option?

There will be an option to live stream several events over the homecoming weekend. You can participate through the live stream on the Homecoming 2022 website for the President’s Breakfast and Mass of Remembrance. You can catch all the soccer game action at abbeyathletics.com.

Where can I give a name for the Mass of Remembrance?

During the registration process, you have the opportunity to input the names of anyone you would like included during the Mass of Remembrance. If you forgot to input a name or would like to add more names, please use this form.

Anyone wishing to submit a prayer request may email it to prayers@bac.edu. All prayer requests will be added to the Monastery prayer list.
