Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the full-time position of Executive Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide advanced, cross-functional administrative support to the Office of the Executive Vice President for Administration, Finance and Operations (EVP) in addition to providing routine assistance to the Office of the President and the Office of College Relations as requested. In this high-visibility administrative role, the candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the College. Calendar management, project management and exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – are necessary, along with a high level of professionalism in demeanor, appearance and respect for confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in a senior administrative role supporting an executive-level professional. Prior experience working in higher education is helpful, but not mandatory. This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) as well as familiarity with G Suite. The work environment is an office setting which requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds with long periods of sitting.
