Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach daytime and/or evening psychology courses.

Job Responsibilities

The courses may include: introduction to psychology, addictions, trauma, social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, personality theory, counseling, sports psychology or other elective courses in psychology.


The ideal candidate must understand and embrace the responsibility of supporting the college’s Catholic identity and value participation in an academic community dedicated to a robust Catholic and Benedictine educational vision.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in psychology or a related field; prior experience in college teaching is preferred.
