Position Summary

Belmont Abbey College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach daytime and/or evening psychology courses.

Job Responsibilities

This is a part-time position is for instruction in the area of substance abuse counseling. Additional possible courses include introduction to psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, personality theory, or other elective courses in psychology.


The ideal candidate must support the college’s Catholic identity and value participation in an academic community dedicated to a robust Catholic and Benedictine educational vision.  Additionally, the ideal candidate would have extensive training in substance abuse counseling and prior college teaching experience. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in psychology or a related field.
