Alumnus Named Ambassador of Colombia to the United States

Daniel Garcia Peña, 1980 Abbey graduate, was recently named the new Ambassador of Colombia to the United States. Daniel majored in Political Science during his time at Belmont Abbey College, and since graduating, he has held numerous positions in the Colombian government.
