As a small Catholic college founded on Benedictine values, we educate students to lead lives of integrity, succeed professionally, become responsible citizens and be a blessing to themselves and others.
MEET THE ABBEY COMMUNITY
This is Who
We Are
We find our center in Jesus Christ, and believe in the development of the whole person—in mind, body, and spirit. We welcome everyone, from any background and tradition, who is committed to fostering that growth and joining in the mission of the college.

Our mission and vision
Belmont Abbey College educates students in the liberal arts and sciences so that in all things God may be glorified. We are guided by the Catholic intellectual tradition and rooted in the Benedictine hallmarks. Both inside and outside the classroom, we provide programs that foster virtue and excellence.

A team built for success
The Abbey allows you the freedom, intellectually and spiritually, to explore the riches of the Catholic tradition. It provides you with a home. It is a place where people can make something good happen if they chose to; it’s all here for them.

Our Excellence is Getting Recognized
We are ranked as one of the top Catholic colleges in America for faithfulness and affordability by the Cardinal Newman Society. First Things magazine declared us a “school on the rise,” and we were recently named one of the best Southeastern colleges by the Princeton Review.
