At Belmont Abbey, I am a member of the wrestling team, the New Student Mentors Program, and Abbey Advocates. I have come to accept Belmont Abbey as a home away from home, I felt attached to this place the moment I visited and quickly discovered this is where I need to be to grow and thrive. I chose to continue my education at the abbey because the college offered everything I was looking for such as small class sizes, a welcoming community, competitive sports teams, and the degree I wished to pursue. I decided to become a part of the advocates program because Belmont Abbey College has done so much for me in the little time that I have been here, and it has helped shape a big part of the person I am becoming. What I wish to do is show others how Belmont Abbey College can do the same for them.

I am currently a junior at the Abbey, majoring in Marketing and double minoring in Accounting and Writing. I chose the Abbey because of the community, small size, and the opportunities presented to me. Being in a smaller community provides the Abbey with a family feel. Even though we are a small school, the Abbey has presented me with several opportunities, such as the Hintemeyer Program, the Financial Literacy Club, Mentorships from Professors, and now the Abbey Advocates Program.
