This day is designed to help you finalize your enrollment process and get to know the Belmont Abbey community members who will be guiding you through your college career over the next four years! Meet the Residence Life, Wellness Center, Student Life, Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Business Office and Campus Police staff as you return to campus for a day to turn in all your paperwork, meet future classmates, and prepare for Orientation in August.

Meet the Abbey Advocates
Meet our Abbey Advocates – a prospective student’s greatest resource in their college search. Abbey Advocates lead all campus tours and aid the Admissions Office in putting on Abbey events. Abbey Advocates are current students from a variety of backgrounds, pursuing the different opportunities available at the Abbey, from athletics to theatre arts to the Honors College. I am Co-President of the Advocates as well as President of the Great Movies Club. My favorite part of the Abbey is the community. The people here are very welcoming and help make the Abbey feel like home. I am studying Motorsport Management with a minor in Digital Sport Media. A fun fact about me is that I have been to 45 of the 50 States.

My name is Hannah Blaha and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I have five younger siblings and a dog named Moses. I graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in 2023. I also worked as a Customer Service Clerk at Harris Teeter when I was in high school. I enjoy volunteering at my home parish and I care deeply about my faith. I am part of the Hintemeyer Catholic Leadership Program at Belmont Abbey. I also like to sing and I am a part of the Abbey Chorus. Finally, I intend to major in Elementary Education and minor in Theology.

David Cornwell is a senior in the Honors College, and will be majoring in Great Books with a triple minor in theology, theater, and English. He is an active member in the Abbey’s Catholic community and the Abbey Players, having featured in 5 main-stage productions through his junior year. He has been a tour guide with the Abbey Advocates since January 2024, and has enjoyed showing the beauty of the Abbey to prospective students. He hopes to finish his degree in the spring and move on to earn his PhD in English after he gets married this coming summer.
