Yes, eligible students’ tuition will be waived for a single 3-4 credit hour course on the approved list for the Summer 2026 term. Summer tuition is normally $349 per credit hour, so the Jump Start program offers savings of $1,047. There are no additional fees, but students are responsible for purchasing required course materials (i.e. textbooks).

All new first-year students who have been admitted for the Fall 2026 term and submitted their enrollment deposit prior to March 4th. Transfer students and returning students are not eligible for this tuition waiver.

The class schedule for the Summer term will be released  and class registration will begin mid-March. Students will be provided an approved list of courses selected from the Core Curriculum that will include Western Civilization I, Rhetoric and Writing, Introduction to Psychology, The American Constitution, and Introduction to Scripture. The list will include details like class meeting days/times, faculty, and modality (i.e. online, in-person, or hybrid). Detailed instructions on the registration process will also be communicated in mid-February.

No, summer housing is only available for returning students who were enrolled for the Spring 2026 semester. With expanded online and in-person hybrid classes, both local and out-of-state students can take advantage of the new program and start early on their college career.
