Welcome, Belmont Abbey College parents!
We believe an informed and supportive family plays a key role in a student’s educational achievements. For that reason, we want to help you participate in your student’s experience at Belmont Abbey by providing important tools and resources to make it easy for your family to stay engaged. Our goal is to make the Belmont Abbey experience as positive for you as it is for your student.
As you and your student begin your journey with Belmont Abbey College, there are many resources that will guide you along the way. Below are several helpful links and ways you can get involved.
Join the Parent Leadership Council
Belmont Abbey College established the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) to serve, engage, and understand our parent community. We strive to enhance the experience of our parent community through individual and collective outreach, engagement of parents as potential co-op employers, and as philanthropic partners.
Parent Leadership Council is an active, diverse volunteer group who steers community outreach, provides feedback on college activities and communications, and contributes philanthropic support. PLC members have a common interest in strengthening experiential learning opportunities for students, sharing experiences and perspectives, and welcoming new parents into the Belmont Abbey family.
If you’d like to join the Parent Leadership Council, please contact Angie Saunders in the Office of College Relations at angelasauders@bac.edu or 704.461.7654.
Memories for a lifetime
There are so many memories that I have from my time at college ranging from volleyball or Frisbee in the quad, running to mass, or late nights studying or spending time with our Lord in the adoration chapel. Belmont Abbey College, for such a small school, presents a wide variety of opportunities for its students to learn and grow.
