FRESHMAN RETREAT 2024
We’re so excited you’re coming to the Abbey! Upperclassmen and campus ministry staff plan this retreat to welcome you! This retreat is open to incoming freshmen of any religious background. Get to know your classmates and dig deeper into your relationship with God.

What to Expect
- Encounter beauty at a summer camp near Crowders Mountain State Park.
- Foster friendship by playing games and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.
- Deepen faith through prayer, Adoration, Mass, and the testimonies of upperclassmen.

Give your spiritual life a lift
I was able to grow deeper in my faith and fall in love with God all over again. I was challenged by my peers, professors, and the monks to take advantage of every opportunity that I had at the Abbey, including daily mass, confession, and a beautiful adoration chapel outside my door.
