Commencement is finally here! The members of the class of 2024 are extraordinary. The well educated, well formed, and well prepared men and women of Belmont Abbey are quite literally the answer to Abbot Leo Haid’s prayer that, through them, God’s blessing would be spread across this beautiful country in the years to come.

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring day. It is remarkable to consider that there are only about three weeks of classes remaining in the semester. Before you know it, we will be celebrating Belmont Abbey College‘s 146th Commencement Ceremony (Saturday, May 11th).

I also hope that you will join our students, faculty, and staff on Tuesday 4/23 at 11:50 in front of the Basilica as part of our Founders Day celebration. Applauding the monastic community as they exit the Basilica is a wonderful way to express our gratitude to them for their continuing sacrifice and fidelity. I look forward to seeing you there!
