The mission of the Office of Academic Assistance is to provide academic resources and opportunities for the development of skills necessary for academic success. In accordance with its mission, the office offers individualized academic coaching for skill development, tutoring services, services for students with disabilities, and workshops.

In keeping with Catholic and Benedictine values, the office contributes to Belmont Abbey’s larger mission of developing balanced persons who strive to realize the full potential of their unique gifts.

The staff invites all students to take advantage of its resources.

The Academic Resource Center (ARC)

Located in the lower-level of the Abbot Vincent Taylor Library, the ARC provides a range of services to facilitate students’ academic success and pursuit of excellence at Belmont Abbey College. The ARC offers space for tutoring, as well as spaces for individual and informal group studying, and a computer work station.
