The mission of the Office of Academic Assistance is to provide academic resources and support for the development of skills necessary for academic success. In accordance with its mission, the office offers academic coaching for skill development, tutoring opportunities, and services for students with disabilities.

The Office of Academic Assistance houses the Academic Resource Center (ARC).  Located in the lower-level of the Abbot Vincent Taylor Library, the ARC provides a range of services to facilitate students’ academic success and pursuit of excellence at Belmont Abbey College. The ARC offers space for tutoring, as well as places for individual and informal group studying, and a computer work station.

In keeping with Catholic and Benedictine values, the Office of Academic Assistance contributes to Belmont Abbey’s larger mission of developing balanced persons who strive to realize the full potential of their unique gifts.
