A Degree That Will Get You Going Places
Belmont Abbey College is a superior, private educational experience that comes from the personal relationship our students have with faculty who are leaders in their field. We have long served Gaston County residents through our various leadership programs, camps, and conferences. Whether its Business, Psychology, Criminal Justice or Education (or many more) — the degree you’re seeking will help you move up or move on to a whole new career. Our graduates have altered their careers, started new businesses and changed their lives for the better.
“After my appointment with a counselor, I fell in love with the campus. The structure of taking two classes at a time made me realize that I could do this, and my doubts turned into goals that were achievable. If it had not been for the encouragement, the peace, and the atmosphere filled with possibilities, I am sure that my college search would have continued. I have not looked back since I began. The road has not been easy, but the rewards have been worth the sacrifice. This is a great place for adult students to obtain their life-long goals and at the same time develop life-long friendships. The support, belief and hope push you to the finish line.”

Psychology Major Full-time student, business owner, homemaker
“I really did not know what to expect when I started, but the staff was so helpful and made you feel really welcomed. I felt like I was home. The instructors are so understanding and know the adult experience of trying to return to school while balancing work and taking care of a family and all the other daily things that come up. I want to encourage anyone who is considering a school to look at Belmont Abbey College. You will find that the Abbey is true to educating the whole person – and once you start, you will hunger for more. This is truly a great place.”

“I have had a wonderful experience thus far at Belmont Abbey. My professors have been great and have taught me a lot. They really are passionate in what they teach, and they care about the students. The criminal justice department here is phenomenal. The students are friendly and helpful. We all come together and work together as a team to accomplish the same goal that everyone here is striving for — a great education and a degree.”
