COVID Update to Campus Events

Beginning Wednesday, September 15, the following amendments to current policies regarding the use of facilities and attendance at events will be in effect until November 1:

  • Events from external groups utilizing campus facilities (rentals) will not be allowed.
  • Internal events with external participants/audiences in INDOOR facilities (theatre, athletics) will be subject to masking requirements and operate at 50% capacity.
  • Internal events with external participants/audiences at OUTDOOR facilities will not be subject to masking requirements and capacity restrictions; masking and social distancing are encouraged as possible.
  • This policy will extend to November 1 with an announcement date of not later than October 15 as to whether the policy will be discontinued.
