Belmont Abbey College seeks a PT (part-time) Financial Aid Counselor.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the PT Financial Aid Counselor conducts, coordinates, and administers activities in the Financial Aid Office to determine and provide financial assistance to students in accordance with college guidelines and in compliance with Federal and State regulations. The PT Financial Aid Counselor will assist at the front desk when needed. Some occasional night and weekend work is required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree; a minimum of two years Financial Aid Experience is preferred. Must demonstrate keen knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel) to manage tasks, schedules, and reports. Must be proficient in Time Management, Prioritizing and meeting deadlines. Experience with PowerFaids and PowerCampus is preferred. The work environment is a general office setting with no strenuous physical demands.

Finally, candidates must have a sincere appreciation and acceptance of our Catholic approach to education and an understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
