The minor in Cyber Audit, Controls and Compliance (CACC) is designed for Business and Accounting students who want to complement their major by adding the valuable and highly sought-after skill set of IT Audit. The CACC Minor focuses on data risk from an operational vs. technical perspective which falls within the responsibilities of senior management. Students will have hands-on experience working through an IT Audit to identify the risk of data integrity and determine how to best manage the identified risks.

CS 230: Cybercrime and Governance
CS 106: Introduction to Cybersecurity
CS 480: Network and System Security
One of the following courses:
CS 231: Modern Cybersecurity
CS 345: Intro to Artificial Intelligence
CS 460: Cyber Forensics
CS 307: Database Systems Design and Management
CS 491: Ethical Hacking
A grade of “C-” (1.67) or better must be earned in all courses required for any minor in the department. Students should consult with the Department Chair and complete an official declaration of minor form as early as possible.

Courses that cover spreadsheets, databases, programming in Python, C++, and SQL are among our students’ favorite classes.
