Minor in Latin*
FOUNDATIONS IN LATIN LANGUAGE AND THOUGHT
The Latin minor offers students a strong foundation in basic Latin proficiency, engaging them directly with classical and ecclesiastical texts that have shaped Western civilization. Through an immersive, living Latin approach, students learn to read, write, and speak Latin, deepening their connection to the literary, philosophical, and theological heritage of the Church and the broader classical world. This minor complements majors in the liberal arts and prepares students for further study or teaching in classical education settings.
