ABOUT THE HONOR SOCIETY
Belmont Abbey’s Accounting, Technology and Data Honor Society focuses on sharing information about the fields of accounting, technology, and data analytics while connecting students with professionals in the Charlotte area. The honor society is endorsed by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors. To see our recent events, go to our LinkedIn page!
To remain an active member, one must attend at least one meeting, or at least one event hosted by the Accounting, Technology and Data Honor Society per month, as well as obtaining four volunteer hours per semester.
Members have the opportunity to attend panels with guest speakers spanning various careers amongst accounting, technology, and data analytics fields, which will allow students to learn more about the what these degrees offer after graduation and how to be successful. There are also networking events focused on students developing relationships with local business professionals and ISACA Charlotte chapter members. Lastly, members will have the opportunity to attend volunteer events that support the mission of Belmont Abbey College as our way to give back to our community.
