Last week, Youthan Love, a senior at Belmont Abbey and Chairman of the North Carolina Federation of College Republicans, traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the 2024 Republican National Convention. Accompanied by his close friend Caleb Edenburn, Chairman of the North Carolina Teenage Republicans, Youthan had the opportunity to connect with leaders and elected officials from across the nation.
During an interview with 99.3 WBTV, he shared this in regards to Donald Trump’s speech, “This a time in America where we don’t need to be doing political assassination attempts or that type of violence. We should be able to come together and discuss our issues and walk away with different opinions, but without violence, and I think that’s really what he’s going to be calling on tonight is unity.”
During the convention, he spoke with the media, enjoyed time on the lake with the North Carolina delegation, participated in key discussions, and made incredible memories!
