    Historian, critic, composer and editor, Charles Burney was one of the first to write a survey of music history in the English language. Join with his spirit of curiosity and hear Charles Burney's A General History of Music (publ. 1776 - 1789) come to life with music from plainchant to the Reformation and beyond.

  • The Candide Quartet: Music of Mozart and Mendelssohn

    The Quartet was named the inaugural recipient of the Barnebl String Quartet Fellowship. Formed in 2023 at the Juilliard School, the quartet has established itself as one of the most promising young ensembles in the country, having held fellowships at several festivals. They recently made their Alice Tully Hall debut through Juilliard's Honors Chamber Program and have performed at Carnegie Hall.
