Assoc. Professor of Business,

Meet Dr. S. Liz Davis

I have been responsible for the financial vision, stability, and growth of several Fortune 100 companies, focusing primarily in the areas of strategic planning, materials management, information technology, accounting and financial planning and analysis. Navigating between the strategic and operational needs of organizations with a focus on sustainability, competitive advantage, and succession planning has been my focus.

I am a process-oriented change agent with demonstrated credible performance in the manufacturing, banking, biotechnology, and higher education sectors. Although data driven by an accounting degree and an MBA with a major in finance and economics, I focused my doctoral studies in the area of organization and management with specializations in leadership and human resource management.

I have led successful accreditation efforts at both the program and university levels, designed academic programs, and developed curricula for various modalities (online, hybrid, face-to-face) for all levels of study (baccalaureate, master, and doctoral).

Interests include: traveling, amateur photography, solving murder mysteries, leadership training – girls/women
