Received his B.A. at Trinity College in Dublin and his Master of Studies and Ph.D. from University of Oxford in England.

Exploring medieval history and the basic humanity we share with people from the medieval world.

Researching and publishing works on the political, social and cultural history of early medieval Britain and Ireland, as well as Celtic Studies.
