The dance minor provides a wide range of opportunities to carve your own unique path in dance. Whether you are passionate about performing, teaching K-12 standards through movement, or becoming a more engaging business executive, the dance minor can help you on your road to success! Curriculum
Course Requirements:
Achieve the Dance Minor in 15 Credits
DA101: Dance Appreciation or DA200 Dance History (3 Credits)
DA102: Dance Technique I (3 Credits)
DA202: Dance Technique II (3 Credits)
DA303: Choreography (3 Credits)
And choice of 3 of the following:
DA112: Ballroom (1 Credit)
DA213: Ballroom II (1 Credit)
DA216: Musical Theater (1 Credit)
DA219: World Dance (1 Credit)
DA217: Dance Conditioning (1 Credit)
DA218: Tap (1 Credit)

Oetgen Scholarship
The Oetgen program is a four-year scholarship program for students who have an interest in theatre or dance. Students pursuing a minor in Theatre Arts or Dance may apply. To learn more, click here.
