Honors College Director of Operations and Recruitment
Position Summary
Belmont Abbey College invites applications for the current position of Honors College Director of Operations and Recruitment.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Dean of the Honors College, the Director of Operations and Recruitment manages, plans, coordinates, and participates in all recruitment programs and related activities for the purpose of providing the Honors College with a representative applicant pool in order to achieve enrollment objectives. The position will also provide support to the Dean and Faculty of the Honors College in the areas of fundraising, event planning, and other administrative tasks needed to increase the flourishing of the Honors College. The Director of Operations and Recruitment assists the Dean of the Honors College in the day-to-day responsibilities of the Honors College and contributes to the vision and outreach strategies of the program in conjunction with the Honors College’s vision and strategic plan. The Director of Operations and Recruitment assists with the management of high target areas of prospective students, travel budgets, and travel arrangements. The position manages communication with prospective students on a weekly basis and throughout the enrollment cycle. The Director of Operations and Recruitment, along with the Dean and Faculty, is responsible for helping to research and create opportunities for increasing the awareness and enrollment of the Honors College.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline in the Liberal Arts, Business Management, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required. Desire to learn TargetX SalesForce and PowerCampus are required. A comfort level with public speaking and supervising others are required. The work environment is an office setting which requires the ability to work odd shifts, travel up to 50% of the time by air or car, sit continuously at a computer, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
