As the only graduate program of its kind in the United States, the Abbey’s MA in Motorsport Management provides a comprehensive understanding of the technical, interpersonal, and strategic skills needed to succeed as a professional in the dynamic motorsport industry. You will gain valuable insights into the governance and legal frameworks of motorsport organizations, preparing you for careers in sponsorship, revenue generation, marketing, team management, finance, and community relations. Grounded in Catholic and Benedictine traditions, the program emphasizes character and professional development, ethical and virtuous leadership, and sound business practices, equipping students to navigate the complex motorsport landscape through practical, real-world applications. Graduates will be prepared to make meaningful contributions to their organizations and communities while promoting positive change in the motorsport industry.

  • MM 645: Motorsport Team Management
  • MM 615: Sport Analytics and Data Management in Sport
  • MM 695: Motorsport Marketing & Communication
  • MM 685: Risk Management in Sport
  • MM 625: Advanced Social Media in Sport
  • MM 605: Sport & Virtue
  • MM 655: International Motorsport Management
  • MM 665: Revenue Generation in Motorsport
  • MM 675: Motorsport Finance
  • MM 699: Professional Development Capstone
  • MM635: Event Management in Motorsport (1 credit)

It is the student’s responsibility to see that all degree requirements for graduation are fulfilled.

Graduation Requirements: 

    1. Completion of MA Professional Development Capstone Project (1 credit hour) during any semester in the program.
    2. Total Credits Required for Graduation = 31 credit hours with no more than six credit hours transferred into BAC
    3. No more than one C course grades in all graduate level coursework with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 combined program course work.
    4. Completion of all required coursework within seven years after program admission

Tuition: $695 per credit hour (31 credit hours)

  • NOTE: Admission entry point in both fall and spring semesters.
  • Students may enroll part-time and for a two-year completion cycle, but the pathway presented in this document assumes full-time enrollment, including the summer term.
