The Data Analytics major will prepare you to use current technologies to generate ethical, data-driven recommendations for business, non-profit, and government fields. The program is portfolio-based, which means you will graduate with concrete projects and accomplishments to showcase your skills to employers.
Data Analytics majors are curious about the world around them, logical thinkers, and problem-solvers. Here at Belmont Abbey, we emphasize the importance of asking the right questions and ethically using data to make informed decisions. The major coursework will build on your strengths to provide you with the programming and software skills and the contextual understanding needed to succeed in a high-paying data analytics career.

In addition to the specific requirements listed in the section below, all students at the Abbey are required to earn credits in our core liberal arts curriculum.

A “C” (2.00) average or above in all Data Analytics courses is required for graduation.

The Data Analytics major complements majors in business, economics, finance, and math.
