Belmont Abbey Treasure Inducted into the Gaston County Sports Hall of Fame
If you were at the Abbey between 1956 and 2015, you likely remember Stanley Dudko. After immigrating to the U.S. following two different Nazi occupations in Poland, Dudko found a home at Belmont Abbey. From standout soccer player to award-winning soccer coach to beloved professor, he has left a mark on this institution. His legacy continues on with an induction into the Gaston County Sports Hall of Fame.

The Cardinal Newman Society Features the Achievements of The Abbey
The 2020-2021 school year was one like no other. Belmont Abbey College pushed through to maintain the community and culture that has always been present while still taking steps to ensure the safety of each and every family represented on our campus. And while it might have looked a bit different, it was still a successful year of continued growth from all facets of the Abbey community.
These strides were noticed by The Cardinal Newman Society and they took some time to sit down with College President, Dr. Bill Thierfelder, to take a look back at this academic year at the Abbey.
