THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION RUN
THE ABBEY PLAYERS
The Abbey Players are in their 138th season of continuous theatre on the campus of Belmont Abbey College. Having a long-celebrated tradition of fostering and nurturing the creative spirit within Gaston County, The Abbey Players offer artistic, educational, and community events for both the college community and patrons across the greater Metrolina area. Local and regional artists collaborate and perform with students, benefitting all who participate and attend. The Players also support the college’s dance company, The Abbey Dancers, which operates the entire academic year and presents an annual showcase, with specific performances offered to area schools. In addition to a full mainstage season and special events, they partner with local schools and community non-profits to welcome audiences to enjoy free concerts, plays, reader’s theatre, and musicals.
ARTS AT THE ABBEY
