This minor teaches you how to apply business principles and skills to the growing field of healthcare. You’ll learn the essentials of managing a successful healthcare program, and how to draw upon the Catholic Benedictine tradition to make wise and ethical decisions. These studies will prepare you to enter the healthcare industry with both knowledge and virtue.

Program Details
A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in each course required for the minor. All courses must be taken at Belmont Abbey College.
The minor must have a minimum of 9 credit hours distinct or exclusive to the minor. Similarly, for students seeking to double-minor in Business-related minors, each minor must have a minimum of 9 credit hours distinct or exclusive to that minor.

BU 421: Healthcare Operations
BU 423: Law, Ethics, and Risk in Healthcare
