In partnership with the Irish Consulate in Atlanta and the Charlotte Irish Connection, Belmont Abbey’s History Department will welcome two scholars to campus: Dr. Patrick Griffin of the University of Notre Dame will speak on “Ireland, the Irish, and the American Revolution,” and Dr. Melissa Walker of Converse University will give a lecture entitled “Every Man His Own Officer: The Men Who Fought at Kings Mountain.”
